Sun in Scorpio
☉ ☌ ⚸ ♏
This morning, after a four-hour nap, I was doing some stuff, and something nudged me to look ahead. And here’s an important side note - know your ascendant and express that mofo like your life depends on it. And I was also contemplating if I’ve appropriated anything, especially since I’ve claimed not to be following any one official tradition. And then I remembered I was born downstream of people whose ancient culture was steeped in astrology and magic. And then I thought I couldn’t care less what this or that culture or anyone else had done with magic and astrology, including Victorian kookes and whoever else; so if anyone wanted to Karen what I do, then they would be the appropriative asshole. And then I remembered that no one owns this crap, and if they say they do, they lied before they even woke up that morning. And then I remembered that I was anointed as a Discordian Pope. And that was all before coffee number 1.
Where was I? Oh, I was saying that I looked ahead this morning and saw another great opportunity in a few months for Water Magic.
On November 7, 2025, the Sun will conjunct True Lilith1 exactly at 15° Scorpio, where the Sun rules. Mars, Scorpio‘s sovereign, will be in Sagittarius, so unable to see or affect what’s happening at home. Helpful or strengthening aspects are Jupiter, though not trine by degree, trine by sign; and the North Node in Pisces trine by both degree and sign.
This is amazing; it’s a bullseye inside a bullseye. The second decan, and of course the 15th degree, is the center of Scorpio; and the center of fixed signs is powerful magic. The exact time will vary according to your locale and by the minute, and your relation to GMT could push this forward or back a day, but you don’t have to be as exacting as all that. You could consider any point in 10° - 19 ° of Scorpio (Nov 2nd - Nov 12th) for your ritual. Regardless, this is about the Sun juicing new life out of death. I’m not talking about necromancy or anything lurid like that; you can’t bring anything back that’s dead anyway. That’s the definition of dead, it’s fucking gone. If it comes back, it’s a shade emanating grief.
Sun in Scorpio is new life issuing from the rot of what was. Except - and this is the tricky part - what will the Sun’s conjunction with Black Moon Lilith do? Does the Sun blot Lilith out completely? Does Lilith defer or weaken temporarily? Or maybe she gets fully illuminated? Or do Sun and Lilith dance together to release new life from the rot of repression; new life that is shameless and ready to be fully satisfied? The last option sounds rad, but what haven’t we considered yet? Jupiter in Cancer might have a small say here, but the North Node adds tremendous hunger to this conjunction, with something altogether different coming out the other end. In this case, the South Node in Virgo is the ass-end of material reality that pays for all that devoured spiritual fulfillment.
Anyway, there’s a lot to consider and be careful about. Maybe I’ll do a thing. Maybe I’ll write a thing. Or maybe I’ll just pass on this one. But some of you crazy kids might want to play. All prior disclaimers and warnings apply.
For some further disorientation, here’s my take on Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio.

Dialing in with eyes open going into this one, then! Appreciate the advance insight, Skyguy, as my ascendant is Scorpio etc etc etc.
Thanks!!😊 How does the Sagittarius express themselves!!! I have to go look more into the ascendant sign and get it going.
