New Moon Magic - Part II

How are Luna and Mercury’s transit in Gemini with a parked Uranus affecting me? Not at all. Tossing a couple of currents into an existing category 4 hurricane does not do much.

Widescale interpretations of transits are missing the mark. How these motions affect individuals is as personal as everything else that affects individuals. And when an individual does magic, they are changing the universe.

Is that hyperbolic and grandiose? Well, yes, but not only that. It’s the reverse of the conceit that a blip in the sky means something worth knowing for everybody. It is the individual deciding that these blips are actually instruments for reshaping the only universe available to them.

So how about that New Moon ritual? Potent Earth Magic. I received a sigil (magically charged symbol) immediately, and spent the weekend engaged in as much Earth as my body could tolerate. I continue on that endeavor for the next lunar month, all of it antithetical to Gemini, where the Sun will be soon, but contrasting the Moon as She carries on the agenda established in Taurus.
